CONVERTER – PHX420. pH, ORP or ISE to 4-20mA Converter/Transmitter Interface Board. 

 

The CONVERTER-PHX420 board is designed to perform linear analytical signal conversion and conditioning function, from the voltage produced by the electrode to industrial standard 4 to 20 mA current signal output. Additionally, industrial standard such as 1 to 5VDC and 2 to 10VDC output modules are available.

The CONVERTER-PHX420 is a linear low cost 4-20mA transmitter for pH, ORP or ISE interface to remote data-loggers, ADC and PLC. Commonly utilized as the heart of pH In-Line Amplifier pH-ILA.

 

If used properly, it will eliminate the need for expensive boards, which would otherwise be needed to carry out the same tasks.

 

The CONVERTER-PHX420 is easy to install, setup and operate. If you want to perform  professional analytical measurement functions from remote locations such as water treatment facilities, oil drilling, well measurements, remote lake water analysis, the CONVERTER-PHX420 offers the features you need.

 

Mounted easily via three 0.125" mounting holes. or via our modified enclosure with din rail EID-1593LBK and EID-1427DIN (both sold separately).

 

Connecting the board is simple, just follow these easy steps

 

1. Connect the electrode via BNC to the 4-20mA transmitter.

 

3. Connect the current output 4-20mA signal to your remote location, via terminal blocks conveniently mounted on the bottom of the 4-20mA transmitter.

 

3. Connect the board to 24VDC or 24VAC. via terminal blocks conveniently mounted on the bottom of the 4-20mA transmitter. LED Power indicator will light.

 

The board monitors the electrode (pH, ORP, ISE) voltage and converts the signal to current.

Note: Using 249 Ohms 1% resistor on the meter (remote side) will produce 1 to 5V for 4-20mA.

         Using 499 Ohms 1% resistor on the meter (remote side) will produce 2 to 10V for 4-20mA.

Note: Our linear low cost, small size, signal conditioning self-power integral two-wire 4-20mA transmitter for pH, ORP or ISE interface to Data loggers, ADC, DCS Systems, Data acquisitions Systems, Receiver, Analyzer or PLC will accept input voltage of +/- 2.000 VDC.
