MEET ROCKER. The fun and easy sequence blinking LED, running LEDs left to right, right to left, or up/down kit.

Our ROCKER - UD6 has many applications; fill your party with running, blinking ROCKERS. Mount the ROCKER on your bicycle so you'll be more visible and have a safer ride when signaling. Use as a sign on room door as an indicator of how way "cool" you are. Place ROCKER anywhere you’d like to draw attention and a smile. The unique small design will allow you to mount it almost anywhere. Operate it with 9V battery, 12V car battery, four 1.5V batteries, or via one of our battery simulator kits. The alternative uses are endless. It’s designed for the beginner as well as the expert. Please drop us a line at sales@eidusa.com and let us know the creative ways you use your ROCKERS!

Do It Yourself (DIY) and enjoy your kit.

So many ways to configuration and mount the components, see above pictures. Mount your ROCKER almost anywhere.

Change C1 as well as R1, R2 values. This will change the clock (generated by the IC LM555), therefore changing the blinking (running light) speed.

Schematic

MEET ROCKER. Our left/right to right/left running blinking LEDs kit is based on “10 bit counter.” Using the LM555 as a clock generator to drive the counter increases the 10 bit counter by one, therefore lighting the next LED. Using diodes as a "OR" configuration crreates the following repeated sequence of the LEDs: L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6, L5, L4, L3, L2, L1.

The RLX resistor determines the LEDs brightness, and limits the current flow to about 10 to 15mA when running between 9V to 12 VDC.

The ROCKER flash running rate is determined by C1 capacitor and R1 resistor. Increasing C1, while decreasing R1, will slow the rate.

Please be advised: Staring at the ROCKER for an extended period of time may cause dizziness, glazing over, or hypnotic effect!
