OEM MODULE –FREQUENCY (PULSE RATE) DIVIDER - A voltage signal pulse rate divider industrial transducer Board.

 

This board offers a simple, state-of-the-art, reliable way to convert Hi speed pulse rate input voltage signal to a low level pulse rate signal. i.e. 1 KHZ (1mSec) signal into 125 Hz signal.

 

The MODULE FREQUENCY DIVIDER FDX, Frequency divider with output voltage (X) select converter, is a signal continuant pulses to a lower rate ("speed") continuant pulses signal.

 

The FREQUENCY DIVIDER MODULE, board is designed to perform frequency to lower frequency value conversion. If used properly, it will eliminate the need for an expensive board, which would otherwise be needed to carry out the same tasks.

 

The MODULE FREQUENCY DIVIDER FDX  is easy to install, setup, and operate. If you want to do professional scientific frequency measurement related functions such as flow rate accumulation measurements, The FREQUENCY DIVIDER FDX offers the features you need. It can be mounted easily via two 0.125" mounting holes using 4-40 screws.

 

Simply connect the board input to incoming pulse signals source from open collector isolated opto-coupler or pulses from dry contact i.e. 256 pulses per second and our board will convert it to an lower rate output 1 pulse per second; equal to input signal divided by a binary factor X (model A1 or AX) where X = 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 or 256 or divided by a decimal factor X (model BX) were X = 1,2,3,4,5,9 or 10. (model CX) were X = 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 or 10.

 

Utilizing in energy management applications, where interfacing fast pulses rate or frequency output such as flow, kWh and BTU energy metering devices or transducers. The board interfaces fast changing pulse rate with a standard PLC and DDC inputs.

 

The Frequency / Pulse Divider (FDX) transducer board accepts pulse signals from devices such as flow sensors, electric KWh meters etc., rescales and divides these pulses, and provides a level pulse output. This allows the receiving devices such “pulse-accumulator,” PLC or Flow Rate display to monitor higher frequencies than they are able accept directly.

 

While enhancing the input pulses, the Frequency/Pulse Divider (FDX) transducer board (module) utilized as “Binary” Encoder Divider Module (BEDM) to reduce the number of pulses per encoder revolution. In addition to cover a wide application range, the board output signal 2 can be set for four signal levels; 3V for ARM Processors, 5V TTL System and 10V PLC or 15V CMOS based equipments. Where the board output signal 1 is an open collector that can be use with system derived by optically isolated inputs.

The OEM Divider Module reducing the number of pulses per encoder revolution. Model depended The number by which to divide can be any X factor number range, Decimal (1 to 10) or Binary (2 to 512) and is selected through on board jumpers (no external configuration software is needed!).  Additionally, the pulse divider module removes any invalid input transition, generating only valid transitions at the outputs.

 

Unique on board settings allows the change of output amplitude levels. Standard output level are 3.3V, 5V, 10V, 15V (output 2) and 24v on output 1.

 

The module unique input anti-dither technique eliminates input noise and mechanical vibration counting errors. The module also set for Optical isolation between pulse generator and input. Push-pull output with short circuit protection. On board Terminal block eliminating disconnection commonly due to pluggable terminal blocks.

Pulse divider filter and Splitter with maximum accuracy: The input pulses (mechanical, opto-isolated or solid-state signals) pass through our unique designed filter and “Schmitt-trigger” circuits, the clean signal than path thru or divided (decimal or binary model depend and on board user selected), and spitted into two outputs. Where, output 1 is an open-collector type with/without on board pull-up resistor option, and output 2 attenuate or amplified to the desire pulse signal amplitude (3V, 5V, 10V, 15V on board user selected). The two outputs pulse signals are in 180 degrees phased each other. Furthermore, one can connect the two outputs pulses to two separate accumulators, loggers or telemetry systems.

Example 1; TTL (0..5V) input pulses of 1000 pulse per second need to be divided by 10 (PULSE DIVIDER 10:1) and connected to pulse accumulator that require 10V input pulses.

 

On board (model BX or CX) Jumpers Selecting Settings:

 

1. Install jumper (JP1) on X factor divider select /10

 

2. Install jumper (JP2) on V-Out2 select 10V

 

Example 2; HTL (0..24V) input pulses of 12800 pulse per second need to be divided by 16 (PULSE DIVIDER 16:1) and connected to pulse accumulator that require TTL levels  input pulses.

 

On board (model AX) Jumpers Selecting Settings:

 

1. Install jumper (JP1) on X factor divider select /16

 

2. Install jumper (JP2) on V-Out2 select 5V

 

Example 3; HTL (0..24V) input pulses of 2000 pulse per second need to be divided by 1 (PULSE DIVIDER 1:1) and connected to pulse accumulator that require TTL levels  input pulses.  In this example, one just want to change pulse level and eliminate industrial noise (RFI, EMI etc).

 

On board (model BX or AX) Jumpers Selecting Settings:

 

1. Install jumper (JP1) on X factor divider select /1

 

2. Install jumper (JP2) on V-Out2 select 5V
